Project Management Course Training

Course Description

The Project Management 2-day course brings a restoration professional through the full life cycle and flow of a project; from when the phone rings to cashing the check. The Project Management course is a prerequisite for RIA advanced designations. By focusing on the first five steps of a project life-cycle (Project Initiation, Planning, Execution, Project Performance, Project Close), this relatable course gives students tips and tricks to enhance their understanding of how to think ahead, plan effectively, and manage a well- organized and successful project.

Scope of Service

An RIA approved instructor will provide instruction for the two-day Project Management course which will consist of the following chapters:

  • Define the PM role
  • Project life cycle
  • 5 Phases of a project
  • Initiation Phase
  • Project Planning
  • Critical path
  • Safety
  • Project execution
  • Monitor & control phase
  • Project close

Each participant will receive an electronic PDF of the training course slide deck.

Certificate of Completion & Continuing Education Credits

Upon completion, attendees will receive an electronic certificate of completion valid for 13 RIA continuing education credits, along with a course survey.
